Remote recording
The client will send a fully notated part, a guide part or indicate for Mike to create a part, alongside an mp3 or a DAW track in either ProTools or Logic Pro and a recording can be made in isolation and emailed without effects. Live instruments are recorded with a combination of microphones by Neumann, Sontronics and sE Electronics via a Focusrite Clarett 8pre interface. Keyboard sounds include the Roland Fantom 06, the Kawai MP11SE (featuring samples of the Shigeru Kawai acoustic grand pianos) and Pianoteq8 and Keyscapes sample libraries. Alternatively files can be sent as MIDI files allowing the client to use their own sample libraries.
